Mountain runner and cross-country competitor Antonia Grigorova has achieved her goal of passing the distance between Kom peak and Cape Emine in less than six days.
Grigorova has arrived at the seashore after having run the 600 kilometers of the challenging tourist route along the ridge of Stara Planina for 5 days, 22 hours and 55 minutes.
In this way, Grigorova became the first woman to pass the distance at a racing pace. The record of the Kom - Emine trail is held by Bulgarian athlete Kiril Nikolov - Disl, who covered the 600 km for 4 days and 13 hours in 2015.
