Representatives of the largest industrial union in Germany will pay a visit to Bulgaria next year in order to explore opportunities for investments and starting new projects. This was agreed at a meeting between Bulgarian Deputy Minister of Economy Alexander Manolev and Elgar Straub, Managing Director of VDMA Bavaria, which is the largest industrial union in Europe.
Currently, more than 930 Bavarian companies with a total of 256 representative offices and branches from different sectors of the economy are engaged in production and trade activities in Bulgaria.
Alexander Manolev also spoke with head and scientific director of the Bavarian Digitization Center, Prof. Dr. Dr. Manfred Broy, with whom it was agreed that Bulgaria and Bavaria would cooperate in the development of a strategy for digitization of the Bulgarian economy.
