The effectiveness of the ageing management of the Kozloduy NPP has been confirmed, a report of the Bulgarian Nuclear Regulatory Agency of a partner check-up approved at today’s sitting of the Bulgarian Council of Ministers shows. The national report has been developed to meet the requirements of EU directives related to the Community frameworks for the safety of nuclear installations. The main conclusion of the report reads that in the past eight years the activities related to the extension of the lifespan of the two nuclear units of Kozloduy NPP have influenced the ageing management of the Bulgarian power plant.
