The Bulgarian Government has provided a grant totaling EUR 90,000 to the Sts. Cyril Methodius High School in the village of Gorna Albota, in the region of Taraclia in Moldova, where a big number of ethnic Bulgarians live.
The funds are allocated under a project in the framework of the Bulgarian Development Cooperation Program aimed at improving learning process conditions. Major repair of the school has not been done since the 1980s.
Currently, except in Gorna Albota, similar projects are already being worked on in three more villages, and the total amount allocated by the Bulgarian side is over 300,000 euros, BTA reported.
