Bulgarian Air Force MiG-29 fighters to be repaired with Russian parts in Bulgaria

Bulgarian Minister of Defense Krasimir Karakachanov has announced that the MiG-29 fighter jets of the Bulgarian Air Force will be repaired in Bulgaria with Russian parts. Over the next seven years, all the MiG-29s that Bulgaria has will be repaired, as well as the Su-25 jets, out of which just four are now flying. A project to buy new fighter jets is also being coordinated, it was reported. To previous inquiries regarding used F-16, offers will be received for F-18 Boeing, Rafale and Eurofighter jets.
