The money spent so far on the project for a second Bulgarian nuclear power plant in Belene cannot be restored unless a power plant is built, Bulgaria’s Minister of Energy Temenuzhka Petkova said at the ATOMEXPO International Forum in Sochi, Russia. According to the plans of the Bulgarian government, the nuclear power plant should be built on a market principle and without state guarantee.
