The revenues from international tourism amount to EUR 3.45 billion, Bulgaria’s Minister of Tourism Nikolina Angelkova announced. 69% of all foreign tourists visiting Bulgaria are citizens of EU member states. The number of Ukrainian, Moldovan and Israeli tourists is also significant. Bulgaria has the ambition to penetrate more distant tourist markets such as India and Japan.
