Bulgaria’s Chief Prosecutor Tsatsarov supports four Bulgarian coast guards investigated for death of Turkish poacher

Bulgaria’s Chief Prosecutor Sotir Tsatsarov promised support to the four Bulgarian coast guards investigated for the death of a Turkish poacher. Sotir Tsatsarov has assured them that they will not be extradited to Turkey. Bulgaria’s Chief Prosecutor Tsatsarov met with the border guards to express his respect and gratitude. Ten years ago a Turkish fishing boat entered Bulgarian territorial waters. One of the poachers was shot during the arrest operation and died on his way to the hospital. Currently an indictment procedure is held against the Bulgarian border guards.
