Bulgaria’s fourth President Rossen Plevneliev (2012-2017) received the highest French distinction the Legion of Honor at a ceremony held at the Embassy of France in Sofia. The Ambassador of France to Bulgaria H.E. Eric Lebedel bestowed the order to President Plevneliev. “I am proud that I was the President who said on the first day of my term in office that to me the EU would not be foreign policy, but a family.
