Two sisters aged 14 and 18 and their parents, all of them Bulgarian citizens, were killed in a crash with a Cessna private airplane in the central part of the Republic of North Macedonia.

The Cessna was flying from Ohrid to Sofia. Due to bad weather conditions the pilot requested a landing in Skopje but then asked for permission to continue to Sofia. Before the plane disappeared from radars the pilot reported strong turbulence.
