Bulgaria’s Central Election Commission announced the official results of the European elections held in this country. GERB party will send 6 MEPs to the new European Parliament, the Bulgarian Socialist Party sends, 5 MEPs, the Movement for Rights and Freedoms will have 3 MEPs in the EP, VMRO will send 2 MEPs and Democratic Bulgaria coalition will send 1 MEP to the European Parliament. Sergey Stanishev who was initially placed 5th in the election list of BSP advances to the second position due to the preferential voting.
