Leonid Eidelman: The development of Bulgaria's healthcare should enter new phase

The development of the Bulgarian healthcare should enter a new phase and the Bulgarian Ministry of Health has been taking measures in this direction, the President of the World Medicine Association Professor Leonid Eidelman said at a meeting with Bulgaria’s Minister of Health Kiril Ananiev. Professor Eidelman is paying a visit to Bulgaria on occasion of the 10th International Medical Congress of the Southeast European Medical Forum. Minister Ananiev and Professor Eidelman discussed the problems Bulgaria and other European countries have been facing in the healthcare sphere such as the shortage of medical specialists, the high costs of medication and the insufficient financing in the sector.
