Bulgaria’s economic indicators at the end of 2019 are very good, this country’s Minister of Economy Emil Karanikolov told the Bulgarian Telegraph Agency. In the third quarter of 2019 the gross domestic product increased with 3.8% as compared to the same period in 2018. The European Commission, the International Monetary Fund and the European Central Bank raised their economic growth forecasts for Bulgaria. Although an economic slowdown has been registered in Europe, the economic indicators in Bulgaria have increased and 2019 will be probably one of the best years in the past decade in terms of economic growth. Bulgaria’s GDP will reach and exceed a record high of EUR 60 billion. Unemployment levels in this country are at thirty-year low. Exports also hit record highs and between January and October 2019 saw 4.2% increase, Minister Karanikolov added.
