Viktor Orban promises assistance to Bulgarian truck drivers crossing Hungary

Bulgaria’s Premier Boyko Borissov held a phone conversation with his Hungarian counterpart Viktor Orban. Many Bulgarian citizens continue to wait for permission to cross Hungary, Premier Borissov underlined during the phone call. Hungary’s Prime Minister Orban has assured Premier Borissov that he would assist them in providing passage corridor. All safety measures will be taken and the cargo vehicles will be escorted by the law enforcement authorities, it became clear during the phone conversation. I am great friend of you and the Bulgarian citizens. I don’t want to give them any trouble. I will personally take care of the Bulgarians waiting on our border, Premier Orban said. Premier Borissov pointed out that the Romanian authorities have also assured him that they will not allow congestion of vehicles on their borders.
