Flag of Alpine Junior World Skiing Championships arrives in Bansko

The flag of the Alpine Junior World Skiing Championships scheduled for March 2021 has already arrived in the Bulgarian ski resort of Bansko which will host he event. The official symbol of the ski championships was brought by the Director of the 2021 World Junior Alpine Skiing Championships Bansko Viktor Gichev. The flag was handed down to Viktor Gichev in Narvik, Norway which hosted the last Alpine Junior World Skiing Championships. It was terminated due to the COVID-19 epidemic. However, organizers and participants are omtimistic that the 2021 Alpine Junior World Skiing Championships in Bansko will be held on schedule. The fact that the Alpine World Skiing Championships Men will be held before the junior championships is a bonus for the teams, Viktor Gichev commented. Bulgaria will host the Alpine Junior World Skiing Championships for the first time.
