European Commission approves Bulgaria’s scheme aimed to support employment

The European Commission has approved the scheme of the Bulgarian government aimed to support employment to the tune of EUR 770 million. The subsidy aims to preserve employment in sectors which are most affected by the social isolation measures introduced over the Covid-19 epidemic. According to the scheme, the state will pay 60% of the costs of the Bulgarian employers for salaries and social security contributions of their employees.
