Bulgarian citizens in the territory of the State of Israel are advised to remain calm, strictly adhere to the instructions of the Israeli Civil Defense, and monitor current information, the Bulgarian Foreign Ministry recommends.

The institution has also called on Bulgarian citizens in Israel to register with the consular service at the Bulgarian Embassy in Tel Aviv, providing accurate information on the duration of their stay and current contact details, in order to provide maximum assistance in case of need.

The call comes after the declared state of emergency in the Israeli state and the security situation in the last hours after the Israeli air strikes against Iranian nuclear sites.

Ben Gurion Airport remains closed and all flights, including to Sofia, Varna and Burgas, have been canceled until further notice, the Foreign Ministry added.

Bulgarian citizens can contact the Embassy of the Republic of Bulgaria in Tel Aviv at the email address: Consulate.TelAviv@mfa.bg and the emergency telephone numbers - + 972 54 595 4379; +972 54 463 4003.
