Photo: Archive

Turkey has declared an area of 20 square km along its border with Bulgaria as a 2nd degree military zone. The decision signed by President Recep Tayyip Erdogan was published in the Turkish official newspaper tonight. The region is located in Turkey's Thrace region of Kirklareli near the Black Sea coast and is located about 5 kilometres from the border with Bulgaria.
Most of the military area covers land terrain and a smaller part - a sea area, the correspondent of BNR in Istanbul Marian Karagiozov reports.
