The medical establishments on Bulgaria’s Black Sea coast are ready to treat patients with Covid-19. The hotel staff should direct guests who need medical care to certain medical establishments, Dnevnik daily informs. Upon arrival of tourists, hoteliers are required to provide information about the nearest medical establishments and the medical services offered there. EU tourists with European Health Insurance Card will face fewer formalities.

Foreign nationals with long-term stay or short-term stay permits in Bulgaria, or those travelling in transit through Bulgaria, must have an insurance covering the costs of treatment and hospital stay during their stay in the country. The prices set by the respective medical establishment apply to those citizens.
