We are already receiving guests from 35 countries, but the revival of the tourism sector is gradual, said Tourism Minister Nikolina Angelkova during a parliamentary control session. Bulgaria was one of the first countries to reopen its borders to tourists on June 1.

We already have guests from all countries for whom we are open without a mandatory quarantine, Angelkova explained.
Advertising activities have been updated to restore the positions in tourism, as the focus is already on domestic tourism and that of the countries in the region and the EU.
The country is also advertised on leading communication and television channels and programs, the minister added.
