The purchase of 7.8% of Fibank's capital by the Valea Foundation of the Czech entrepreneur Karel Komarek may be a step towards entering the Bulgarian gambling market. This is what Veselin Vachkov, head of the Czech newspaper Lidove Novini, commented for the BNR.

Komarek is one of the wealthiest Czech citizens. His fortune is estimated at about $ 3 billion. Until 7 years ago, his main business was the oil fields in Moravia. He then invested in the largest Czech lottery, and then entered the gambling market in Greece, Italy, Cyprus, Austria and Croatia, Vachkov explained.
