More and more Bulgarians tie belief in God to morality: survey

50% of Bulgarians tie belief in God to morality which is 17% more than in 2002, indicates a Pew Research Center survey - The Global God Divide.

The survey includes 13 EU countries, and only Greece is ahead of Bulgaria with regard to this indicator - 53%.

The older, poorer and less educated are significantly more likely to think that belief in God is necessary for morality, data show.
