MPs gather at extraordinary sitting on Thursday

At the request of the Bulgarian Socialist Party, the National Assembly would vote on a draft decision obliging the government to submit to parliament an update of the budget within 7 days due to socio-economic measures aimed at overcoming Covid-19. The BSP is also calling for a hearing of Prime Minister Boyko Borissov and Interior Minister Hristo Terziiski. The reason is violence against journalists and protesters during the National Conference of GERB last week, when protesters and a journalist were attacked.
