Participants in protest rallies say that they will continue expressing their civil position until the resignation of Bulgaria’s cabinet and this country’s Prosecutor General. Demonstrators from the protest camp on Eagles’ Bridge are also ready to continue the blockade of the intersection.

A counter protest was held on Saturday evening near Sitnyakovo Avenue. The participants at this rally were against blockades of key road arteries and intersections and demanded the resignation of Bulgaria’s President Rumen Radev. They are expected to protest on Sunday evening for the sixth consecutive day.

Conflicts between protesters who block the intersection and passers-by who disagree with their way of dissatisfaction are becoming less common, participants at blockades say. In their words, there were no provocations last night.

Three major intersections in Sofia remain blocked by protesters. Demonstrators are to go out in the streets for the 46th consecutive day to demand the resignation of Premier Borissov and Prosecutor General Ivan Geshev.
