The National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology has issued an extreme fire danger index for nine Bulgarian districts for today. The level of warning applies to the following districts: Veliko Tarnovo, Ruse, Silistra, Targovishte, Burgas, Sliven, Stara Zagora, Haskovo and Yambol.
