The National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology has issued an extreme fire danger index for nine Bulgarian districts for today. The level of warning applies to the following districts: Veliko Tarnovo, Ruse, Silistra, Targovishte, Burgas, Sliven, Stara Zagora, Haskovo and Yambol.
Extreme fire danger index means that there is a risk of fires occurring in forests and bushes. Sunny and hot weather is in the forecast for all Bulgarian regions for today. The maximum temperatures are expected to reach 36 C.
