Photo: dunavmost - library

A blockade stopped traffic in the area of the Danube Bridge near the city of Ruse. The event began as a motorcade protest that stopped at a roundabout near the border crossing. The Municipality of Ruse said that the notification of the protest did not mention anything about blocking the traffic.

Border and traffic police divert car traffic. But truck drivers have to wait for the blockade to lift. However, so far everything is going peacefully and without tension, BNR reported.

The organizers, who present themselves as a civic association "Budno Ruse", say that in this way, "by hindering international traffic, they want to attract the attention of European institutions."
