Bulgarian President to give out awards to distinguished media personalities

On November 17, Bulgarian President Rumen Radev will give out awards to distinguished personalities with a significant contribution to the world of media. The awardees  journalist Daniela Kaneva, Prof. Lilia Raycheva and film director Milen Getov will receive the Honorary Badge of the Head of State, the press office of the Presidency announced.

Daniela Kaneva is a longtime journalist at the Bulgarian National Television who has been making films about Asia for 30 years. She managed to interview a number of famous politicians and was the only woman to interview the legendary Vietnamese general Nguyen Giap.
Prof. Dr. Lilia Raicheva has been a longtime lecturer in journalism and author of a popular educational TV show "One minute is a long time"
Film director Milen Getov is best known for the screen adaptations of Bogomil Raynov's novels.
