Coronavirus restrictions hinder early planning of winter tourism. 600,000 adult Bulgarians, or 11.5% of all Bulgarian citizens are preparing to use some type of tourist service in Bulgaria during the forthcoming winter season. Meanwhile, in 2019 their number was four times higher.
The number of people planning a holiday in winter resort abroad is seven times lower as compared to last year and amounts to several dozens of thousands only, a survey of Gallup International and Bulgaria National Board of Tourism shows.
