Employees in sectors affected by lockdown to receive support of 12 euros per day

Bulgaria's Minister of Labour and Social Policy Denitsa Sacheva has announced with an order the economic activities in which workers can receive compensation of BGN 24 /EUR 12/ for an 8-hour working day due to the additional restrictions introduced due to the Covid-19 pandemic in the period from November 27 until December 21. 

Support will be provided for those employed in bars, pubs, cafes, language and other educational centres, kindergartens and nurseries, organizers of congress and conference events, those employed in various trainings, staff in museums and theatres. 

If the Covid-19 restrictive measures are continued, employees will be entitled to receive financial support for no more than 60 days.
