The Ministry of Economy and the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy have granted nearly EUR 800 million to the business, Bulgaria's Minister of Economy Lachezar Borisov told the media. EUR 30 million has been granted to the Bulgarian business in the past 10 days only. Earlier, Minister Borissov presented the implementation of the business support programmes to members of the National Assembly Committee on Economic Policy and Tourism.

Minister Borissov reminded that last year the authorities spent EUR 1.4 billion from the state budget on anti-epidemic and anti-crisis measures. In his view, these measures have yielded the necessary results, because Bulgaria is still among the EU countries with the lowest unemployment levels. According to data of the National Employment Agency, Bulgaria’s unemployment rate stands at 7%.
