Until March 9, a total of 87,216 Bulgarian citizens have submitted applications to vote at the forthcoming Parliamentary elections. For comparison, the number of applications filed at the previous general elections in 2017 amounted to 45,071.
The highest number of applications were submitted in Turkey- 20,854, indicates data published on the web site of the Central Election Commission. Bulgarians in UK will be able to vote in up to 35 polling stations. 13,493 applications were submitted in Germany, followed by Spain- 7,743, the USA- 5,030, Italy- 2,719, Austria- 2,114, the Netherlands- 2,025, France- 1,949 and Greece- 1,941.
