Bulgaria’s Balkan Gas Hub exchange is already in competition with another company, reported 3e-news.net. This became clear from the decisions of the Energy and Water Regulatory Commission, taken in closed session.

One of the decisions concerns the licensing of the state-owned Balkan Gas Hub exchange to "organize a natural gas exchange market". The other decision of the Energy and Water Regulatory Commission concerns the private Bulgarian Energy Trading Platform. The two gas exchanges will operate through the same platform.
