Bulgaria reports 157 new cases of Covid-19

157 new cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed in Bulgaria in the past 24 hours out of 14,275 tests performed, indicate data of the Single Coronavirus Information Portal. 1% of the tests have returned positive result. The highest number of new infections was reported in Sofia-29, followed by Plovdiv-16 and Varna-12.

2,629 patients are being treated in hospital 293 of them in intensive care units. 660 people have recovered and 18 have died in the past 24 hours. There are 15,596 active cases of Covid-19 at present. No new Covid-19 cases have been reported in Kyustendil, Silistra and Sliven districts.

21,757 vaccines have been administered in Bulgaria in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of inoculations against Covid-19 to nearly 1.5 million. 616,035 people have already received their second vaccine dose.
