On the occasion of the 85th anniversary of the first broadcasts of the Bulgarian National Radio abroad, their successor – Radio Bulgaria has launched a quiz with questions about Bulgarian culture and history.
In the second issue of the quiz we asked you which of the five sites listed are part of the UNESCO World Cultural and Natural Heritage List?
The summarized results of the Radio Bulgaria quiz in ten languages show that the Rila Monastery and the old town of Nessebar are most recognizable. These are two of the most popular destinations for cultural tourism in this country. The Boyana Church, which is also part of the UNESCO list, ranks third in recognition among our audience.
Perperikon and Heraclea Sintica rightfully received the least number of votes. They are not part of the UNESCO list, but they have gained great popularity in recent years and that is why they were present in the answers of many participants in the quiz.
You can read more about the Bulgarian cultural monuments that are part of in the List of World Cultural and Natural Heritage HERE.
Thank you for your participation and we invite you to join our next quiz, which will be available soon on the website of Radio Bulgaria!
