Coronavirus positivity rate remains below 1%

94 is the number of newly registered coronavirus cases out of 11,151 tests performed in the country in the past 24 hours, a positivity rate of 0.8%, Single Coronavirus Portal data show.

The highest number of new infections is in Sofia-city – 15. In 7 regions of the country no new cases have been registered in the past day – Veliko Turnovo, Gabrovo, Montana, Pazardzhik, Silistra, Turgovishte and Shumen.

9,602 is the number of active cases. 1,650 coronavirus patients are being treated in hospital, 196 of them in intensive care. 8 people have died, 450 have recovered in the past 24 hours.

12,733 vaccines have been administered over the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of vaccinations to 1,681,399.

759,962 is the number of people in the country who are now fully vaccinated.
