Bulgaria's President congratulates Stoyka Krasteva on winning the gold in Tokyo

President Rumen Radev congratulated, in a telephone conversation Bulgarian boxer Stoyka Krasteva for winning the gold medal for Bulgaria at the Olympic Games in Tokyo. According to the President, her success brings joy to the entire Bulgarian nation. Radev also pointed out that Stoyka Krasteva was an encouraging example and inspiration for many young Bulgarian talents dedicated to sports.

The village of Varbitsa near Pleven where the family of our Olympic champion lives, is celebrating her Olympic title today. "There is no greater happiness than this for Varbitsa, this is happening for the first time," locals said.
