At a meeting with representatives of the tourism sector Bulgaria’s caretaker Minister of Tourism Stela Baltova discussed economic measures in support of businesses amid a Covid-19 pandemic. The representatives of the tourism industry warned that the sector was losing well-trained full-time and seasonal staff because of the crisis.

The long-term survival of our business requires a solution to the staffing problem, stressed the representatives of the tourism sector. Bulgaria should be promoted as a tourist destination at the main tourism markets, noted the representatives of the tourism industry and called for clear measures and predictability for entry into the Covid-19 red zone.
