Bulgaria’s caretaker Minister of Health Stoycho Katsarov convenes today the Expert Council on Epidemiology, at which the introduction of additional anti-epidemic measures, proposed by this country’s Chief Health State Inspector Dr. Angel Kunchev, will be discussed.

Angel Kunchev offers two alternative types of measures- use of a Covid-19 green certificate, PCR or antigen tests without restrictions on the capacity of public places, or introduction of more restrictions and suspension of certain activities. However, a full lockdown is not expected, Minister Katsarov said.

Many Bulgarian districts, Sofia included, have already introduced stricter anti-epidemic measures.
