Antani Ivanov qualifies for 100m butterfly semifinals at European Short Course Championships in Kazan

Bulgaria's swimmer Antani Ivanov beat the national swimming record at 100m butterfly and qualified for the semifinals of the European Short Course Championships in Kazan, Russia. 

Antani stopped the clock at 50.73 seconds and placed among the 16 athletes that will take part at the semifinals. Antani Ivanov beat the national record by nearly 1 second. Three years ago, he set his previous record (51.70 seconds) at a swimming competition in Sofia.
