190,000 people have visited the Palace in the Black Sea town of Balchik since the beginning of 2021, bgtourism.bg reports. Until the end of March 2022 visitors can see the exhibition of the Historical Museum in Pomorie entitled "Birds - heavenly messengers or something else?".

The architectural park in Balchik was built as residence of the Romanian Queen Maria (1875-1938). The queen visited the city for the first time in 1921 in the company of her son Prince Nicholas and was so fascinated by the beauty of the bay that in 1924 the construction of her residence started.
