Commissioner for Internal Market Thierry Breton pays a visit to Sofia

European Commissioner for Internal Market Thierry Breton is expected to pay a working visit to Bulgaria today. He will meet with Bulgaria’s caretaker Premier Stefan Yanev within the frameworks of his visit. Premier Yanev and Commissioner Breton will discuss topics related to vaccines and vaccination strategies against Covid-19. 

Commissioner Breton is expected to try to promote the vaccination campaign in Bulgaria, which has the lowest vaccination rate in the entire European Union.

Commissioner Breton’s visit to Sofia comes a day after his visit to Romania, the correspondent of the BNR Angelina Piskova informed.
