Krum Zarkov to run for leader of Bulgarian Socialist Party

The Bulgarian Socialist Party had to embark on a course of action towards this country’s government and stop the internal contradictions after Kornelia Ninova was elected a Chairperson of BSP in 2016 and the successful parliamentary elections in 2017 ( when BSP placed second with 27.9% of the votes), MP Krum Zarkov said in an interview for the BNR. 

Zarkov announced that he would give up his seat in parliament to run for a leader of the socialist party. In his words, the energy accumulated by the the socialists was used for internal contradictions.

At the latest early general elections held on November 14, the Bulgarian Socialist Party placed fourth with 10.21% of the votes.
