4.3% coronavirus positivity rate in Bulgaria in past day

706 new cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed in Bulgaria in the past 24 hours out of 16,360 tests performed, data of coronavirus.bg show. 4.3% of the tests have returned positive result.

There are 100,811 active cases of Covid-19. 6,130 patients are being treated in hospital, as 674 of them are in intensive care units. 165 people have been admitted to hospital in the past day. 82% of the new hospitalizations are among the unvaccinated.

49 people have died and 385 have been reported cured in the past day. All covid-19 deaths are among the unvaccinated.

4,050 vaccines were administered in Bulgaria on Sunday. 1.802,611 people have completed their vaccination cycle. 126,807 people have had a booster dose. Scheduled hospital admissions and elective surgeries resume on December 6 due to the decrease of the coronavirus morbidity.
