GERB's proposal to make the document mandatory sparked three days of debates but was rejected. Prof. Alexander Simidchiev from "Democratic Bulgaria" supported the idea of the introduction of a green certificate, currently mandatory for a large group of citizens and children in schools. According to Toshko Yordanov from "There Is Such a People", the document requirement should be lifted altogether, as it was killing business. It was voted that MPs under quarantine would take part in the parliamentary meetings remotely.
