A state of emergency was declared in the municipalities of Rudozem, Nedelino and Borino in Smolyan district. More than 10 settlements in Smolyan district, including the villages of Yagodina, Byunovo and Kozhari, were left without electricity. The heavy rain caused closures of main roads of the national road network. No people were reported destitute. The situation in the municipality of Devin is also complicated.
