Social Minister: The state has money for all social policies

The additional payments for pensioners due to the pandemic have been provided for 2022. There will be no pensioner who has received one amount so far, and will receive less after the New Year, Social Affairs Minister Georgi Gyokov told Nova TV.

Free-of-charge nurseries and kindergartens can be available from September, when the new school year begins. "It will cost 100m euros of the state budget for kindergartens to be free. This is expected to be resolved by law," Gokov said.
Regarding the requested increase in the price of electricity for household consumption, the Minister of Social Affairs pointed out that the electricity price for households can be limited, if necessary, by imposing a moratorium on tariffs set by the energy regulator.
