Bulgaria's capital Sofia returns to the dark red zone for Covid-19

After Bulgaria emerged from the dark red zone of incidence of Covid-19 in mid-December, two days after the beginning of 2022, the Bulgarian capital city Sofia is the first to return there. For the last 7 days the growth of the morbidity in the capital is 69%, bTV reported. The overall increase in morbidity for the country for the last 7 days is 50%.
The Covid-19 incidence rate in Sofia is currently the highest in the country - 319 per 100,000 population. It is lowest in Kardzhali - 55 per 100,000 population.
