Bulgaria's Pamporovo resort to celebrate World Snow Day with snow festival

With a snow festival on January 15 and 16, the Bulgarian ski resort of Pamporovo in the Rhodopes will mark the World Snow Day, the company managing the resort announced. An outdoor snow festival, a DJ set and fun games are included in the program of the winter festival. 

World Snow Day is an initiative of the International Ski Federation (FIS) "Bring Children to the Snow" that aims to ignite the interest of children in winter sports .
The mountain resort is included in the campaign for yet another year. On Sunday, the snow fiesta will continue with games for children and adults outdoors. 

The ski zones at Pamporovo and Mechi Chal are in excellent condition. The snow cover is 130 cm.
