Weather forecast for Monday, January 17

Windy but mostly sunny Monday expected

The night sky will be mostly clear and the lowest temperatures will be between minus 3 °C and 2 °C, in Sofia - around minus 3°C.

On Monday the weather will be windy with strong winds from the west-northwest. It will be mostly sunny. In the afternoon cloudiness will start to increase. The highest temperatures will be between 4 °C and 9 °C; in Sofia - around 5 °C. A cold atmospheric front will pass through the country on Tuesday night and snowfalls are expected.

In the mountains strong and temporarily stormy wind from the west-northwest is expected. The highest temperature at an altitude of 1200 meters will be about 2 °C, at 2000 meters - about minus 4 °C.
